About the Project
The challenge lay in balancing a refined classical character against the demands of contemporary life, while holding to the architectural identity and to practical function. Through an integrated design system, the architecture and the interior and exterior design were unified within a single visual language. The interior design set out to bring forward the richness of the spaces through the interplay of natural marble, gilded wall detail and crystal chandeliers, with that richness extending into the exterior spaces.
