Residential Villa, King Abdullah District

The project rests on an architectural formulation that creates a sharp contrast between an upper mass floating as a luminous glazed box dressed in mashrabiyas and a solid lower base, securing the highest degree of privacy while giving the façade a distinctive contemporary identity. The site is distinguished by its outlook over King Salman Park, which was used to orient the principal spaces and the upper openings towards the park, drawing on its green expanse and open outlook without compromising the privacy of the interiors.
