Eng. Yazid Al Mutawa, Chief Executive Officer of Asaleeb, took part in the field judging of the King Salman Urban Charter Award, during a visit covering the Al Dahou area, Qasr Al Hukm Metro Station and Shuaib Ghadwanah, to assess projects and urban spaces against the principles and values of the Charter.
The participation extends his role as an ambassador of the King Salman Urban Charter, and supports the effort to raise the quality of the urban environment, root local identity and lift the standard of urban design in line with the goals of urban development in the Kingdom.
The visit included discussion of several aspects of the quality of the urban scene, and of how far the projects accord with the values the Charter calls for, contributing to sustainable urban settings that reflect Saudi identity and meet the aspirations of the community.
